News & Updates
-
Te Atatū Health is expanding, with our new clinic, Hobsonville Health, opening in March. This is an exciting step for us and means more space, more resources, and greater capacity to care for our community.
During this transition, there may be some short-term changes behind the scenes. We appreciate your patience while we get everything set up properly.
Please note:
No doctors are leaving Te Atatū Health
Our existing team remains in place
Patient care and continuity remain our top priority
Over time, patients will be able to access care across both sites as needed
Thanks for bearing with us as we make this transition.

We are currently seeing an increase demand for travel consultations. Please note the following:
1. We are a GP clinic not a travel clinic. We recommend a Travel Clinic, which will offer a wider range of advice/services.
2. Travel consults are not government funded, and are therefore charged at the non-capitated rate ($50 per 10 minutes) - including for children. Most travel appointments require 20-30 minutes. We recommend the 'Fit for Travel' website to get an idea of complexity.
3. Please book a travel consult with plenty of time to spare - we recommend a minimum of 6 weeks before departure.
4. Vaccines we do offer are Hepatitis A, Typhoid, polio & Tetanus. These need to be paid for in advance of being ordered and can take 2 weeks to arrive. If you require vaccinations like Rabies or Yellow Fever, or if your child requires malaria prophylaxis, you will need to be seen at a travel clinic.

Due to an unprecedented demand for clinical advice via the Indici portal, there will now be a routine charge for this service. We will continue to provide simple advice about children for free. If you would prefer an appointment, book online or phone our reception team on 09 900 1111.
Please note, the portal is not monitored daily. For urgent matters, please contact reception.
Virtual Consults
Te Atatu Health offers virtual appointments. Please book these via My Indici, or our reception.
Click the doctor’s link to join their virtual waiting room. Please only use this link if you have a booked appointment.
Patient Portal
‘My Indici’ enables everyone to connect with their healthcare providers and manage their health information. It allows you to review your test results and notes, book appointments and request repeat scripts.
